How often does BILTD check my application?
We check your council portal every 24–48 hours. Most councils update their portals within 1–2 working days of a status change, so you will typically know within 2–3 days of any update.
Which councils are supported?
We currently support all councils using the Idox planning portal — which covers around 70% of English councils. We also use the planning.data.gov.uk API as a secondary data source. We are continuously expanding coverage.
What happens after a decision is issued?
We immediately notify you of the decision outcome. If your application is refused, we suggest our Refusal Review Report. If it is approved, we guide you to your next step — building regulations.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Your tracker continues to run on the free plan after cancellation.
Is the 7-day trial free?
Yes. You get 7 days of full monitoring at no charge. We will remind you before your trial ends.
What is a "material" objection?
In planning law, only "material planning considerations" can influence a decision. These include design, impact on neighbours, traffic, and ecology. Non-material concerns (property value, loss of view, personal disputes) cannot legally affect the decision. Our paid tier classifies every objection for you.
